Lately I’ve been meditating on the concept of belief.
Belief is faith in action. Belief is knowledge manifested. Belief shows reality where words and even thoughts can be misleading. You will live according to what you believe.
I thought I believed in myself. I thought I believed in my dreams, my purpose, and my destiny.
Yet, my actions were revealing what I really believed. I was procrastinating. I was hesitating on taking some risks. I was putting great ideas to the side. I was believing my fears more than my purpose. I was trusting the doubts more than I trusted God’s promises to me. I had faith in failure instead of success.
Looking at my life, the evidence of what I really believed was showing. And I did not like what I saw.
So, I had to get like David and begin encouraging myself in the Lord. (1 Samuel 30:6) I had to challenge myself to believe what God has to say about me and ignore what Fear had to say about me.
How are your beliefs manifesting in your life? The evidence of what you really believe is showing whether you like it or not. Are you believing the right things? Do you need to switch up your faith?
Don’t let another day go by where you are believing the wrong thing.
